Ajax huurt talentvolle aanvaller van Barcelona

Op het laatste moment heeft AFC Ajax zich weten te versterken met aanvaller Isaac Cuenca van FC Barcelona uit Spanje. Isaac Cuenca komt per direct over van de Catalaanse club en blijft in Amsterdam spelen tot minimaal 1 juli 2013.

De 21-jarige buitenspeler geeft Ajax' hoofdtrainer Frank de Boer meerdere mogelijkheden voor op zowel de positie linksvoor als de positie rechtsvoor. Door blessureleed van onder andere Ryan Babel en Jody Lukoki en een vormcrisis van Derk Boerrigter en Tobias Sana had Frank de Boer nog maar weinig keus. Ajax wilde de speler afgelopen zomer al binnenhalen, op dat moment ging de deal niet door doordat Cuenca geblesseerd was. Nu komt de speler van Barcelona dus alsnog op huurbasis.
